Writing, events, and creativity. This is where they all meet.

I’m a writer, editor, and event planner who loves exploring how food, fashion, and community bring people together. Whether it’s running sustainable clothing swaps with Isla Vista Trading Post, reviewing a hidden gem restaurant, or publishing a zine, I’m always looking for the stories tucked into everyday experiences—and how to share them in a way that feels inviting, clear, and fun.

How I Got Here

I started out writing and editing wherever I could—friends’ essays, student zines, scrappy creative projects—and quickly learned that the best storytelling isn’t about sounding fancy, it’s about making people feel connected. That lesson shaped my work with Isla Vista Trading Post, where I plan events that mix sustainability with community spirit, and it shows up in my writing, where I bring the same mix of detail, personality, and accessibility to everything from a zine article to a restaurant review.

Why This Site Exists

This portfolio is a snapshot of the work I love most: bringing people together through stories, experiences, and shared spaces. You’ll find food reviews that capture the personality of a meal, event highlights that celebrate collaboration, and creative projects that document the culture around me. My goal is simple: to make the everyday feel worth noticing, and to invite others to join in.

A Bit About Me

When I’m not writing, you can usually find me hosting elaborate dinner parties for my friends that somehow turn into three-course experiments, finding a new craft to pick up, or getting way too invested in the New York Times game Strands. I believe in progressive futures, fish taco supremacy, and the Oxford comma—and I love figuring out how people, food, and communities fit together to make everyday life a little more joyful.
